It will be tailored to suit your individual interests as the tour progresses, to create a bespoke experience filled with things you personally would want to know.
Along with enjoying some historic facts, tall tales and fun anecdotes, this Card Playing Tour makes three separate stops for wine, beer and tasty snacks as part of your immersion into the Spanish culture. At each stop, your private tour guide will put on a different hat, as a card dealer! He will proceed to teach you the rudiments of “La Pocha” a popular Spanish card game frequently played in local taverns and universities. Of course, your local tour guide-cum-croupier has the advantage of being familiar with the Spanish deck of cards which includes kings, sotas and horses! Your challenge will be to build the best strategy to win the game while keeping a straight “poker face”!
Win or lose, this fun tour will then move on to the next tavern with more stories and information along the way. The tour includes some local transport and ends at a gourmet wine center. Meeting Point: the guide meets you at your hotel lobby or at the entrance to your apartment building. In some cases a metro ticket is provided from your hotel to the starting point of your tour. This is a walking tour, the pick up service is on foot, not by car.
Cancellation: you can cancel with 100% refund up to 72 hours in advance. 50% is returned with 48 hour notice and no refund with less than 48 hours notice.
